Die Pad Die has now officially crossed the 200 sales mark, which to be fair was a whole lot more than I was expecting for something that amounts to a party game/project tech template. And as of this morning, it seems like Microsoft are actually serious about addressing the communities concerns, about the hidden placement of the Indie games section on the 360 dashboard. In the US it has been shifted to the front of the 'Games' section, hopefully with other regions to follow.

This was one of my Xmas presents from the missus, and they were fantastic. First got into these guys back in Uni (when I got into music full stop really) and these were the one band I never got to see live, so it was very much appreciated. The pit was lively and friendly, almost wished I hadn't shaved the mohawk the week before though, it would have felt right at home. Supporting were JB conspiracy, who were really good, and I've started listening to them a bit now, and then Orange, who were... survivable. Apart from the fact the lead singer wanted to be Noel Fielding, the support singer (also gutarist) kept going out of tune, and they never really seemd to gel together. But all in all, still an amazing gig!

Randomly went on holiday to Malta. Was amazing, stayed in a 5* hotel thanks to lastminute.com, and it was even sunny and warm for most of the time there! It was very strange booking the whole thing online one night, and then getting up early the next morning to catch the flight. It made it seem very surreal and not quite happening until we were about to touchdown. But it was well worth the impulsiveness, and I would recommed it to anyone with a few days off with their partner!
